Questions about the training provider plan
Soriston Practice turns your real working environment, captured as a 360° photo, into an interactive training space to drill moves and sequences. Soriston Immersive builds on real situations filmed in 360° video: the learner observes, acts, makes decisions and progresses along the scenario. Both approaches can be used separately or combined within your programmes.
No. The subscription covers access to the Soriston platform and the use of Soriston Practice and Soriston Immersive for the learner count you subscribe to.
Creating your own content is billed separately: for example, building your Soriston Practice interactive environment or producing your Soriston Immersive 360° video sequences.
Once that content is created and loaded into Soriston, your learners can use it within your subscription.
Pricing is based on unique learners over 12 months. Someone who uses Soriston at least once during that period counts as one learner, even if they come back several times afterwards.
Yes. An included learner can come back, redo their exercises and take part in several sessions as often as needed within normal use. They are not counted again on each pass.
Occasional overage is billed at €5 excl. VAT per additional unique learner per year. The supplement is capped at the annual price of the higher tier: Soriston always applies whichever works out cheaper. Beyond 1,000 learners per year, the rollout is quoted on request.
Yes. Your centre has its main portal plus a first client company space included. You can then create separate spaces for your other clients, to keep their access, cohorts and statistics apart. All of those spaces share the annual learner capacity your centre subscribes to.
The first company space is included. Each additional space is billed at €69 excl. VAT per month, or €249 excl. VAT per month for a pack of up to 5 additional spaces. Beyond that, or for more complex separation requirements, pricing is on request.
No. The additional space separates access, cohorts and statistics. Content already created can be used across several spaces. If a client company wants its own situations, procedures, Immersive videos or Practice environment, that specific creation is billed separately.
No. Soriston can be used on VR headset, mobile, tablet or desktop, depending on the content and the teaching format you choose.
For group training, there is no need to equip every participant with a headset. A centre can, for example, use 3 or 4 VR headsets for a group of 20 learners and organise the session in several ways:
- rotate learners through the headsets while the others work on a complementary activity;
- split the group into small workshops;
- use the mirror function to project what the learner sees in the headset onto a screen, so the trainer can comment on the situation with the whole group;
- alternate individual immersion, group debrief and repetition;
- use Soriston on mobile, tablet or desktop for some exercises, then reserve the VR headset for the sequences where immersion adds the most.
The format can therefore adapt to the number of learners, the number of headsets available and the centre’s own teaching sequence.
The choice mostly depends on how your centre wants to organise and administer its headsets.
For simple use, a few headsets handled by trainers with no need for central management or kiosk mode, the PICO 4 Ultra is a good fit. It comes in 12 GB / 256 GB. Its observed retail price in France is currently around €600, depending on resellers and promotions.
For more structured use, in particular if you want to administer several headsets, deploy applications remotely or use kiosk mode, we recommend the PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise. PICO currently lists an indicative retail price of €819 for the 12 GB / 256 GB version and €1,060 for the 16 GB / 256 GB version.
In short: PICO 4 Ultra for a simple, economical setup; PICO 4 Ultra Enterprise when you need professional fleet management.
In both cases, Soriston works with several headsets shared between learners: there is no need to equip each participant individually.
The training provider plan lets you use Soriston within your own training services. White labelling and reselling Soriston are not included in the standard training provider plan. If your project requires that, a specific offer can be studied on request.
